The Democratic response to Pres. Bush’s State of the Union made me realize that this country has two leftist political parties aiming for the some socialistic goals. The only thing that is different is that the Democrats and the Republicans have chosen different paths towards virtual communism. The Democrats main point in their response was that they have a better way, implying that they agree with what Bush wants for this nation but believe they can do it better.
In Bush’s speech did he even mention the budget deficit or the 12 trillion dollars we are indebted. Did Bush saying the words “ illegal immigration” once? My goodness we are at WAR, did he mention improving the U.S. Armed Forces? No, he talked about new spending, he hyped big slogans like “spreading democracy around the World,” and more “immigrants” meaning more illegal. Immigrants. And the Dems are inline with all these leftist Bush plans but according to them they have a better way to achieve them.
