A Supreme Mistake Calls for a Supreme Correction

Janice Rogers Brown is the only name that can help President Bush recover 100% from his mistake in nominating Harriet Miers. The problem with Harriet Miers is that she is an unknown quantity, their was a 50/50 chance she could have become another Souter. Why should we gamble? People have been fighting too long for 30 or more to take back the Courts from the radical anti-American liberal left and we are too close now to let some so-called conservative president to screw it up for us now. Bush will not bring us down with him! Conservatives should and will continue to fight for wahts best for America even if it means stepping over Bush.

Janice Rogers Brown is the ONLY name that can help Bush? are you high on something?

I love hearing you "Far Right Wingers" say Brown is the logical choice. It's a joke, because she is a woman... and Black. The Neo-cons are starting to sound like the liberals.

What's really funny is Brown's own record demonstrates her persistent aversion to affirmative action, civil rights, and the rights of people with disabilities. IF IT WASN'T FOR AFFIRMATIVE ACTION ALL YOU CONSERVATIVES WOULDN'T HAVE SUCH A HARD-ON FOR HER!

In addition, Brown has often been the lone justice to dissent on the California Supreme Court, obviously her judicial philosophy is outside the mainstream. Not only does she show an inability to dispassionately review cases, her opinions are based on extremist beliefs that ignore judicial precedent set by the U.S. Supreme Court.

If you were a true conservative, you wouldn't be so quick to fill the seat with a conservative Black Woman just because she is the best conservative black woman for the job. Rather, you would be pulling for the absolute best conservative to fill the seat - not based on sex or race! I don't think you can honestly say she is the BEST person for the job and keep a straight face.

Janice Rogers Brown is like someone who marries into money and then acts like she earned every penny. She got where she is, largely based on Affirmative Action, then pretends it was ALL 100% hard work and nothing else! Janice is almost as confused as you!

It's a joke, but I'm not laughing.

Myron,

I never thought you supported affirmative action, Are you turning into a Liberal Dem? Doesn't surprise me, you are a closet "log cabin republican".

I think Hue nails it with his comment. Conservatives are generally against any kind of affirmative action, but when it comes to filling a seat on the SC, they are falling all over themselves to "get Janice".

(hey Hue, you totally sound like my type, I love the mask!)

The response will be, "That's just racist! Janice is the BEST person for the job, blah blah blah" all the time with a straight face! it's already happening on talk radio.

Hey neo-cons! you can't have it both ways! either you are against affirmative action or you are for it. it's not something you can use like a "get out of jail free" card.

BTW save those "get out of jail free" cards for Mr. Rove, he will need them.
